You can also stand in front of mirror and replicate the steps
Step 1: Identify palate

Palate as the roof of mouth
Palate is the roof of the mouth. It is also the floor of nose. Basically, it separates nose and mouth.
Step 2: Find incisive papilla

Identify front two teeth

Incisive papilla lies just behind the two front teeth. You can feel it as an elevation with your tongue tip.

At rest, tongue should be completely sticking to the palate with tip of tongue just behind the elevation. Because of the shape, we call it The Umbrella Posture.
