Comprehensive Dental Exam
On your first visit as a new patient Dr. Saumil Mogre or Dr. Shubhra Jain will conduct comprehensive dental exam during which they will use modern technology, such as digital dental x-rays and a camera, to take images of your mouth to show you if anything needs to be addressed.
They will carefully examine your oral tissues, bite, jaw and functional state. You will be explained about the dental condition, cause and treatment if required. Feel free to ask even the silliest doubt. We would love to make you more aware about dental conditions.
Brushing and Flossing demonstration
Brushing and Flossing is the easiest practice that can help you keep your teeth and gums free of cavity and gum diseases.
We will help you identify your recent and old deposits to find a way to brush properly and keep your teeth and gums in perfect health. It just takes 2 minutes twice a day to take care of your teeth at home!
If you brush properly, you may not need scaling every 6 months.
Teeth Cleaning (Scaling and Polishing)
Scaling removes deposits such as plaque and calculus (tartar) from tooth surfaces. Polishing restores the smooth surface of teeth and prevents further deposits.
Over time, the regular removal of these deposits may reduce cavities, gingivitis (a mild form of gum disease) and prevent progression to periodontitis (severe gum disease).
After scaling and polishing we recommend brushing and flossing demonstration. This will help you prevent the formation of hard deposits.
Dental Emergencies
Some dental emergencies can be avoided by visiting your dentist regularly. You should also be careful when eating foods that can damage your teeth, such as popcorn, caramels, and hard candies. But some emergencies occur without warning.
The best thing to do is see your dentist as soon as possible. Add your dental care provider to your cell phone contacts, so his address and phone number are ready when you need them!

Cavity Fillings
If you don’t treat cavities early, the decay will spread. Eventually, it will enter your nerve canal, resulting in your need for a filling. You may also need new fillings to replace old ones, to replace a chipped tooth, or fill natural pockets in your teeth that are hard to clean.
Instead of using metal fillings, we recommend tooth-coloured and natural looking composite fillings – we match them as closely as possible to your tooth color, making them virtually undetectable to the eye.
The process is pretty simple. After the decay in your tooth has been cleaned out, we apply a cleansing gel to the area. The next step is applying a bonding solution, followed by the composite filling material. This is then hardened for a few seconds using a high-intensity blue light. The filling is shaped to ensure comfort, and you’re done!
Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment is designed to eliminate bacteria from the infected root canal, prevent reinfection of the tooth and save the natural tooth. When one undergoes a root canal, the inflamed or infected pulp is removed and the inside of the tooth is carefully cleaned and disinfected, then filled and sealed.
Without treatment, the infection in the tooth pulp can result in an abscess, which can damage the jawbone beneath.
If a tooth is causing you pain, has become extra-sensitive to heat and cold, appears discoloured, or the gums around it feel tender and swollen, then you may need a root canal.
Wisdom Tooth Removal
Wisdom tooth extraction is a surgical procedure to remove one or more wisdom teeth — the four permanent adult teeth located at the back corners of your mouth on the top and bottom.
If a wisdom tooth doesn’t have room to grow (impacted wisdom tooth), resulting in pain, infection or other dental problems, you’ll likely need to have it pulled.
Dental Crowns
A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap permanently cemented over a tooth to restore its strength, shape, size, and overall appearance. It covers the visible portion of the tooth above and right at the gum line. Crowns hold weak, broken or cracked teeth together to avoid further fracture. They’re also used to support large fillings, attach a bridge, cover discoloured or deformed teeth, and are placed over dental implants.
Crowns are long-lasting if cared for with good oral hygiene. Avoid biting your nails, chewing ice, or grinding your teeth; otherwise, you can damage it. As the crown is fixed over tooth, you should avoid anything sticky or it may come out. If it ever comes out, it still can be cemented back. Keep it safe with you and take an appointment as soon as possible.
Dental Bridges
A dental bridge replaces one or more missing teeth. We create a natural-looking artificial tooth (crown), which he then cements to the teeth around it, creating a “bridge” across the gap.
Dental bridges literally bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth.
A bridge is made up of two or more crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap — these two or more anchoring teeth are called abutment teeth — and a false tooth/teeth in between. These false teeth are called pontics. Dental bridges are supported by natural teeth or implants.
Dental Implants
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that’s an anchor for a replacement tooth. It is shaped like a screw, and is surgically placed into the jawbone to secure an artificial tooth or a bridge.
Night Guard
If you grind your teeth while sleeping, your teeth are at risk of damage. Wearing a mouth guard either at helps protect them from trauma and lowers your risk of other problems.
We make custom mouthguard that is made specially for you and offers the best fit for your comfort.
We recommend a comprehensive check-up to identify the cause of teeth grinding. Till then, night guard is a good option to prevent the damage due to grinding.
